This site documents my family tree research so far, and I will be updating it as I go along.

I am extremely grateful to John Davies (who provided a great deal of information on one side of the Fitter family), Rod Fleck (for information on the Fleck family line), Yvonne Hensman (Roxby line) and also Jeanette Scott who is doing some excellent work on the Kerr branch.

I have created an Excel spreadsheet for calculating the range of possible dates of birth form the ages given on census forms and marriage/death certificates. (Excel cannot normally work with dates prior to 1901) Please feel free to use it.
